About the Work

Performance, Installation
Wood, paint, lanterns, cushions, candles

Once Right Now Just Then is a performance and installation that explores presence, the passing of time and the nature of grieving and expectation.

The audience is greeted with text that reminds us that things only happen once. The artist rests midstream of the water, still and silent for hours, as the sun sets. A space is available for viewers to sit for a few moments if they choose.

Presented as part of Sunday Drive
